Looking After Your Arm Candy!

With a little love and care, your gorgeous arm candy, whether new or old will last you a very long time!

First off, your handbag needs to be well made and crafted from high quality materials including metal hardware and fasteners to stand the test of the time. Now, we don't mean those designer bags that cost a small fortune, we mean high end fashion handbags (you know...like the ones Bag Envy sell)!

A high end fashion handbag along with being well made and finished off to a high standard will also come with a dustbag. This is the outer cloth bag your handbags arrive in (from us) and they are usually branded with the designers logo and generally made from a soft cloth material.

Now, this dustbag is not just for show, it's there for a reason. When your not using your handbag, be it your having a change for example, always store your handbag in it's dustbag. This will protect it from damp, dust and anything else that could potentially damage it. 

For general everyday use and if your handbag gets dirty, we recommend wiping all over with a dry cloth and for any stubborn marks lightly remove with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or chemicals as these could potentially mark the materials. Some customers have recommended using baby wipes to clean their bags, but again check in an inconspicuous area first!

Now, here's a question for you girls. Where do you put your bag when your in the car? Most of us will admit we just put it in the boot or passenger foot well. Chances are you've just thrown it there too...it's bound to end up tattered!

Hands up if you overload your favourite arm candy! Yep, we've done that too. You can't be bothered carrying an extra shopper so you cram it all in including your lunch box, then you wonder why the straps are giving way.

These are all things to think about. Look after your handbag and it will give you years of pleasure and let's face it, no one wants to carry round a tatty old tote!
